Review on 🏍️ Ultimate Motorcycle Cam Drive Chain Breaker Riveter: 8MILELAKE Tool for Effortless Riveting and Cutting by Tim Beardsley

Good enough it needs lubrication to avoid damaging the tool

This tool works well enough for a 525 chain. I have a Smith circuit breaker so I didn't use this tool to break the chain I was able to mount the rivet link and the tool held up perfectly. Adapter and damage it, the threads also had to be additionally lubricated for smooth operation. One thing I didn't like is that the tool doesn't have an adjustment plate for the back of the chain to align the tool when the chain plate is slid onto the pins. I had to guess if it was properly aligned and often remove the tool to check that the pins were aligned with the holes in the adapter plate and not damaged. The chain rivet adapters work great, I lubricated the rivet head for each pin and it worked with no tool wear. I believe this tool should serve many chains if properly lubricated and used. I see no reason why it could break.
