Works as expected. I really don't understand why this filter costs so much. Don't get me wrong, this particular model is a little cheaper than some brands. I mean, this VW designed filter doesn't have an outer metal housing because the cars it gets installed in have permanent outer filter housings where the filter is placed. Since the filter is essentially just the internal filter element of a regular oil filter, shouldn't it cost a lot less? That's why I give four stars. This should cost less compared to more traditional filters.
