NOT an LED Indicator Light!. The light is not polarized, the resistance is too low for an LED and they run HOT. The good news is that you do not need to connect the tungsten light when wiring them. And they seem to burn out pretty quickly anyway. I don't know how to get revain to get this vendor to correct their product description.After drilling the mounting hole, you must make a small notch on the forward edge of the hole to permit the key on the switch to fit. Otherwise you can cut the key off, but the switch may rotate.The lamp is totally disconnected from both pins when the switch is turned OFF. This prevents you from using the light independently.
