Review on 🔌 Enhance Towing Safety with Tekonsha 3045-P Brake Control Wiring Adapter for Dodge and Jeep by Jeff Strutz

Very easy installation, gray connector very hard to find. Our Jeep Grand Cherokee did NOT have a factory tow kit so I was desperate for an easy install. From reading forums and the like, I've heard that ALL Grand Cherokees come with trailer wiring and that the connector is really hard to find. After removing the lower panel around the brake and accelerator pedal area, I checked where the wiring harness went from the dash where the connector should be. I didn't see anything and then realized that there is a plug, but it is zipped and screwed to the BACK of the cable! You need to know where to look. I cut the tie, plugged everything in and BINGO! They connected it without having time to get under the jeep and stretch the blue wire. Just unbelievable. 8^)
