DEFECTIVE ITEM: Parts

If I could give ZERO stars I would. We purchased the right and left rearview mirrors for our Tahoe and had the body shop professionally install them. The right/passenger side works well, no complaints. However, the day we brought our Tahoe home, we noticed an issue in the left/driver's mirror. It doesn't automatically adjust, just lets the motor run until we manually stop it with the switch inside. This issue persisted and we confirmed that it was not an installation issue as the right hand mirror was installed at the same time by the same mechanic and there were no issues with it. We obviously received a broken mirror, it doesn't work and is no different than a manual mirror which would cost us much less. My basic expectation is that if you sell a DEFECTIVE product or it doesn't work as advertised, you will support and replace it. We contacted the seller straight away and after more than ten emails back and forth they asked us to send photos, diagrams and invoices of our setup etc. They're still keeping us going. They offered to refund us half of our cost if we wanted to send the mirror back. um, okay? We have ordered a mirror that is not working and we will either ship it back to you for a replacement mirror that we can actually use OR you should simply give us a 100% refund of our money. But instead they will keep asking us for more emails, pushing us away and making us jump through hoops hoping we will stop fighting them and give up. So yes, if the mirror works, it's great. But if they don't and don't help you solve the problem, you end up spending more money than you save.
