I recently removed the storage rack on my 2007 FJ. I needed a temporary solution to seal holes in the rack. The screws that come with the kit work and are fitted with a rubber gasket. Big! However, the plastic lid irritates me. They just didn't hold up securely. I couldn't figure out how they were attached for the rest of my life. Do the arrows on the clips all point in the same direction, are they all for the right side? What are they attached to? The seal (not included) doesn't seem to work, nor does peeling off the vinyl in the gutter. I even tried reversing the brass clip that was pressing against the gasket. At least one is already gone. I'm over it They must contain instructions.
