I've been through several fleece blankets, and inevitably, they start pilling or chunking up and getting scratchy after a few washes. This one is perfection (I bought the dark blue.) It started soft and stayed soft through three or four washes so far. It's warm and cozy, and the perfect size and weight. I know a few people below have complained that their blanket sheds, but mine has not shed in the slightest. Since my partner has abandoned his lesser blanket and keeps trying to share mine, we invariably end up in a parasomniac tug of war at least once or twice a week. Ergo, I just bought another one, and I also purchased one for our daughter at college. (The seller has not bribed me for this review, which is honest.)
