After a quick check of the fit, I was skeptical after reading the reviews. It looked fine, so I started reinstalling. After plugging it in, I noticed that the device was locked so it couldn't tug on the cables in any way. I disassembled the spindle, noticing how poorly the cable was packaged. By straightening it out and straightening the cable, I was able to slide the cable over the window and then lower it down the sides for a proper install. See pictures below. Be sure to attach the cable to the window on one side, pull out the guide for that side, and then repeat on the opposite side. I'm too stubborn to send it back and wait. So I made it. Next time I'll buy a cable and completely re-flash myself.
