I have had this item for about 2 weeks now. I really like this cool little mist vaporizer for several reasons. Despite being small, it gives off large amounts of water vapor throughout the night without wetting the surfaces around it. It's very quiet, I can barely hear it running even though it's only a few feet away from me. It really helped me heal my bronchitis as the cool mist soothes my cough and makes my breathing easier. I just used distilled water in it and let it air dry before refilling. The night light feature is also soothing, but can be turned off entirely if desired. It's easy to fill but harder to empty like most machines of this type. When it runs out of water, it turns off automatically. When the mist stops coming out, I just unplug, drain the water from the lower chamber, dry those parts, clean the vibrating disc, then put it back together and turn it back on. Then it's good to go for a few days. I like the light weight and compact design and how easy it is to set up even in low light. Also, the lid that screws onto the water tank is easy for me to remove and put back on, even though I have arthritic hands. It has ridges around the edges and is a couple of inches wide, making it easier for me to grab it. I would definitely buy it for others.
