It seems like you have to buy a new Asus router once or twice a year, but when it works, it's great. I'm on my 4th in 2 years because they keep failing. Sometimes the transmitter/receiver 2.4 fails; sometimes it is AImesh sender/receiver failure. Sometimes just bricks. However, when it works, it's great - fast, simple interface. I need 2 in my house because it always seems like once it starts pushing 10-12 connected WiFi devices it will drop everything in favor of the newly connected devices. As soon as I added a second router and started using AImesh, this stopped. but then. every 6-12 months Phew, one dies. So my rating? When they work, they're great, but don't expect them to last long.
