I live in the south so I'm hoping to really never need these BUT there's a couple things the boots need.The first is, as at least one reviewer mentioned, strong, 'pull-on' straps that accommodate at least two fingers is baddly needed. The material is slippery & it's bothersome to pull on.Second, a smidge wider to allow thick socks without jumping to a larger size would be nice. I'm not exchanging these for a larger pair (I can make these do) but a bit wider would be perfect.All in all - pretty good value for VERY limited use. If you're gonna need a serious boot for winter up north you should not be looking at these.
