It's too hard to get wrinkles and burrs when you peel off the backing.

I wanted to use this to complete the built-in sideboard. I dressed a section after careful cutting, but there were so many waves in it that it was difficult to iron out all the creases. Apparently the self-adhesive backing had not been applied correctly and was too small for the contact paper, which crumpled badly after unfolding. I left it on for a few days hoping it would flatten out but it didn't. I tried taking it off to smooth out some wrinkles but it ripped. It's not easy to remove! I have more than half left so I'll try to put it on a computer desk that's just flat with no corners to cut.
