I'm sure anyone who has ever repaired an auto body knows the importance of good quality sandpaper and the frustration of using poor quality products. In my experience almost everything is junk and not worth using except 3M. I was expecting this stuff to be the same junk but I was only planning a small project so I didn't want to spend too much. However, I was wrong. So far I've used 400 (dry and wet) and 800 (wet) and both have worked just as well as the 3M products I'm used to. The backing paper sticks well, won't wear or peel, cuts cleanly, is durable, and a quick jet of air or water cleans the sheets well. Very happy with the purchase!
