Affordable and effective

We bought it for our almost 3 year old son. It freezes very quickly on the beach, even in summer. In this wetsuit, however, he stayed in the cool air and cool water for hours. He used it early in the morning when the air temperature was 50 and the water temperature was above 60, and also in the afternoon when the air temperature was below 70. When he was offered the choice between swimming trunks and wetsuit in the afternoon, he decided on the wetsuit. The only complaint was after a few hours when he was tired and the neck area started rubbing him a bit with the sun and sand. I opened my back, folded my neck and he was ready to go home. I also think a high collar rashguard might mitigate this. The size ranges give our son room to grow (one of the reasons we bought a $40 wetsuit instead of a $175 wetsuit). However, the extra space in the arms and legs doesn't seem to slow it down. We have no regrets buying this cheaper option for our son!
