Purchased basic 9 piece home security system + optional indoor security camera. Motion and door detection work perfectly. But when installing cameras; I noticed that the cameras are not predictable with an Apple Airport Wireless Router (even with a 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz network). Contacted them the day after installation to set up the product. SIMplisafe said they would send new cameras (support decided it was a hardware issue) although both cameras failed to connect to Wi-Fi as I said on the phone. A Simplisafe spokesman said they would issue a full refund 60 days after purchase if the cameras didn't work. After a month we tried to contact simplesafe technical support to initiate a return. After 1 hour of waiting. The rep said he couldn't issue a refund (the policy says a full refund is given within 60 days of purchase. CONCLUSION - Terrible security system with even worse customer support. Do not buy a system if you are unsure about it works OR don't buy the system through Amazon, buy direct from the company so they have no reason not to refund ALSO if you're looking for system notifications on a smartphone you'll need to purchase a monthly plan (completely kills the entire cost of the system Goal) VERY VERY PLEASURE PLEASE BUY THE RING SECURITY SYSTEM BUT THERE WILL BE NO REFUND.
