Best Case miserable Best in Container Sets

So I've had this device for about 2 weeks and finally tried it with cilantro last week. My partner and I tend to use cilantro for a large portion of our meals and it's great to have fresh and ready to eat. I have used jars filled with water and topped it up every other day or so with effective if time consuming success. When I saw this article I thought it would be a more efficient and compact way to get the job done. Problem 1: opening the subject. You will receive a capsule-like object with a clear plastic window so you can see the current state of the herb. Wonderful! But how do you open it? I had to go to YouTube to find a video of someone opening it. It turns out that you are clamping a transparent plastic. Your own video shows that you must do this and not worry about it breaking. That's exactly what happened today, with a nasty, violent crack in the middle. Problem 2: It doesn't work. Our cilantro was fine in the fridge for the first two or three days. We changed the water every day. But on day 4 we noticed that the leaves were beginning to wilt and become blotchy, the control batch which was literally off the mark with the previous method was excellent. By day 6, the leaves were more slimy than not and dark green. The water, again changed daily, turned a dark green/brown hue with each drain. Here we've managed to break open the clear plastic by following the instructions for use for the first time to remove the spoiled coriander. I can usually keep a bunch of cilantro in a glass of water in a thin plastic bag for up to 3 weeks. . It didn't last a week and broke. May I recommend it? no You're better off using almost any solution other than this poorly designed piece of plastic.
