Review on πŸ”Œ Arlington 8081F Fixtures Receptacles Flanges: Enhance Your Wiring Project with Reliable Connectors by Demetrius Young

Revainrating 3 out of 5

This works for electrical boxes, wires and fittings

These things are hard to find - if you don't know what to look for, even Google can't help you. My house was built in '91 and they have porch lights on the front and back of the house. The clips holding the front and back were broken in my existing kit, warranting the need for a new one. The new one was different than the original one, so the difficulty with this part was getting it to work. I was able to fit it into the fairing and attach it to the studs with a couple of screws, but I had to drill holes in the outer panel to attach the light through them to the back panel. Maybe it was intentional. - It took some assembly and all, but it wasn't very intuitive and the included instructions only considered the best-case scenario. But yeah - it definitely worked, and with a bit of external caulk around the seams (to keep stink bugs out) it looks nice

Pros
  • Smooth assembly for vertical fixtures and outlets
Cons
  • Quick guide
