Uses these to install solar panels on an RV to organize cables / keep the install looking tidy and professional. I cleaned each area with 93% alcohol and allowed to air dry. The brackets were attached to the TPU roof, solar panel aluminum frame and plastic (air vent, air conditioner cover). It was 28 degrees at night and the air temperature was 36 when the brackets were in place. I figured the cold would prevent bonding so I had a heat gun to heat the area if needed. I found they glued very securely without using a heat gun. I held them firmly in place for 60 seconds. They could not be removed. I checked them the next day and they couldn't be moved without tearing the adhesive. I have found that alcohol cleaning is important with any 3M tape and the most important factor is STRONG pressure for a minute and then waiting a few hours before applying anything to give the adhesive some time to bond.
