Bought these to install on a garage door, access to trash cans. They are exactly the same size as the originals in width and height and the holes match up perfectly. Only thing is they are thicker than the ones on the door and unless you get a hammer and chisel and dig deep the door won't close as the hinges push the entire door towards the handle. A few minutes with a chisel on wood and they work. Not enough spring tension to fully close the gate when there is a storm gate outside. The pressure slows the movement of the door so much that the springs don't latch the door. But we can live with that!
