Stiff seam on the collar that rubs a lot on the neck

In general everything seems fine. I've only swum 3 times so far, the water was about 60 degrees and it was very comfortable. No movement problems, easy to put on and take off. However, there is a small piece of the neck (about 1 inch) that has glue on it, making it sharp/tough. This part makes my throat bleed :( I trimmed that glued edge with scissors, I'll update the review if it helps. β€”β€” Update: Cutting out the glued part helped a lot. No more rubbing in one spot. I have also started…

Synergy is great. Nice relaxed fit on the shoulders with plenty of .

Having bought and tried on two TYR wetsuits (sleeveless and roomy) and an older de soto that always felt tight despite the figure guide, Synergy is great. Good relaxed fit at the shoulders with long arms and legs. I'm 5ft 10", 158lbs, long inseam and short torso and the fit guide is very accurate. Very good value for money. Particularly easy dismounting during transitions and very comfortable with triathlon gear underneath (triathlon shorts/top). I wore compression stockings underneath with no…

Ideal wetsuit: wetsuits

I have been competing in triathlon since 1985 and have used all types and brands of wetsuits. This wetsuit is by far the best I have ever used. Materials are similar to wetsuits priced at $700 and up. The materials on the sleeves are very flexible and do not restrict the movement of the arms and shoulders at all. The bottom of the legs are also made from a flexible material which makes it easier to get out of the wetsuit (this has been a problem for me with other wetsuits). The buoyancy is…

I'm so glad I found this wetsuit!

For starters I'm 5'11", 200 lbs tall, muscular. I went for a size L1 and it fits perfectly. I would say I'm fine considering the length of the Compare legs and torso I'll give you some of my measurements so you can compare: These are not dress measurements - these are actual diameter measurements using a tape measure Waist = 38 inches Hips = 41.5 inches Calves = 17 inches Chest = 44 inches Shoulders = 50" The suit takes some patience to put on the first time but seems to get lighter the more I…

You'll like it tight

Excellent suit, fits tight like a second skin. I wasn't sure about the size and was planning to lose some weight. It was very difficult to zip up the first time and this had to be changed. My wife was able to zip me up, but I don't want to rely on anyone. On the second attempt, the zipper closed without any problems! The zipper tab should have a ring that allows the zipper leash to be easily attached and detached. In fact, it can just be a loop going through the ring. are removed after the…

Extremely comfortable and hydrodynamic wetsuit!

This is a very comfortable and flexible wetsuit, a true second skin that also does its job of insulating the core when swimming in colder water. The wetsuit is relatively easy to put on and even the dreaded back zip issue resolved itself nicely after a second try on the wetsuit. The key for me was to gather as much slack in my legs and arms as possible and gently pull that slack down to the neck area before attempting to zip up the back. I also used one hand to gently pinch the fabric under the

A full wetsuit is better than a half

I have both this unitard and the half version (sleeveless and mid-thigh legs). If I could do it again, I would just get this full version. At first I thought half would be a good idea because it's easier and cheaper to get in and out and hands free and I really feel like swimming in the ice water. But being able to swim in colder water is actually great. Even in a full suit, I don't notice any significant limitations in arm movement (I don't care every second, I'm a hobby swimmer, not a racing…

Beautiful, after use noticeably weakens.

Wanted to give some info/advice to other newbies who are unsure of their form. I'm 6'1", 205 pounds and in good physical condition. I have broader shoulders and a bigger chest than most, but even so, it turned out that according to the sizing chart in the photos next to the suit, I definitely fit the L1 range. However, when I received the L1 suit I found that it was very difficult to put on and most importantly almost impossible to close.(It didn't seem like it was even remotely possible.) Even…
