You put this in the microwave for 1 minute 20 seconds. It get really really hot. Much hotter than a heating pad. It’s nice to tie around your neck or around your waste for your back. I have BAD stomach aches and it helps relax your tightened muscles. Only negative is that you have to put it back in the microwave to get hot again but now only a minute is enough. Can’t live without it!
