I love this cable and feel very confident. I finally figured out the size of the wire. I've always wondered why previous cables got hot. This is because they were never intended to be used with small power tools. This cord will take almost anything you can plug into a 110 outlet. I will never buy another cord that isn't at least 12 gauge wire. I can't believe other brands sell 16 gauge extensions. They shine. i had two I never knew it had anything to do with wire gauge. Now I'm an educated consumer.
