Review on ๐Ÿš— Enhance Your Chevrolet Ride with Air Lift Company 59565 Ride Control by John Rivera

Not convinced yet, but not used yet.

I never write reviews but now I'm not thrilled. This is my second Air Lift system that I have ordered from Revain. The first was the Load Lifter 5000. I have a 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali and according to Air Lift and Revain's website it fits in the truck. Well it doesn't match the Denali as there is an extra link that attaches to the leaf spring. Neither Revain nor Air Lift list this minor issue, had to find it on an obscure blog that said only Ride Control would fit in the Denali so it came back in the box and I ordered this system. Fast forward to today and I've installed my new Ride Control kit. Everything was on the truck, it fit well except for the top bracket, some fiddling, but it fit. I routed the lines and vented the system. First passenger side, then driver side. Well, the diver's side was losing air. Did a soapy water test and found no leaks but air can be heard around the airbag. Guess the bag was leaking so I went back under the truck to get it out. To my dismay, the rubber was notched 1/8 inch. I've installed one now and am waiting for a replacement. Now don't bother calling Air Lift, supposedly because of COVID you won't be able to get through. Left a message about the 5000s 6 days ago and still haven't gotten a reply. Right now I can't speak about the performance of these things because I seem to have nothing but failures. Hopefully my third time will be charming, but I guess I'll have to wait until Monday to find out.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Some difficulties
