Fair et is a good smart upgrade when you need it. We were looking for one for our outdated sink that needs a bad update. Still have to do the kitchen but it's a process. We decided to do what was necessary. This was done with most of what was needed. Definitely not that thorough with the instructions. The instructions we received were obviously not for the model that worked for us. I did not receive the metal disc and one of the river discs was missing. Also the screw cap was not of the type shown in the diagram. The type of screw they had had to be a screw. Definitely no problem. It took me some effort to remove the 40 year old faucet. When installing this unit, it didn't explain that you plug the hot and cold hoses into the faucet before putting them in line. I figured out where I got stuck trying to understand that part after a quick minute. After the cap was turned flush, the weak rubber washer was torn. Went to Lowe's and bought a heavy duty washer which I trimmed. Also bought a metal washer that would fit. Now it works like clockwork. Another problem is that at home I installed as indicated in the diagram where the bottom connection is for the hot hose and the top connection is for the cold hose. It was definitely not right. Turned the water back on and for them the exact opposite of what they said. Definitely a great update that I'm proud of. Wife and kids love it and it's much easier to use. The length of the crane is large and affordable. A word of caution: make sure the screw cap on the faucet is as tight and secure as possible. This will make the faucet stable when tightening. I installed it 3 times in total. I would buy it again.
