Did what it took

I needed to remove the clear plastic used to protect cars from rock chips. Mine cracked with time/Florida sun (these are much easier to remove before showing signs of cracking), you'll need something like acetone to remove excess glue (the rubber wheel forms hot glue balls that harden) after the entire Adhesive has been removed I Polish the panels as you will usually see some color fading depending on how long the plastic has been in there (it will be lighter under the plastic, the color will look faded).
