I usually hate tire pressure gauges: all this tipping over and then trying to see the gauge doesn't make my back happy. i'm getting old I get grumpy easily. I don't need back pain to make me even more grumpy. This sensor is exactly what I needed: it fits snugly in my hand so I don't have to fumble to attach it. The digital display is large enough (and backlit!). Just make sure to set your preferred measurement scale before leaning in if you want to save a few seconds. The measurement is stored for 30 seconds after reading, allowing you to zoom in (if necessary). Power requires 1 AAA battery (not included) so no battery consumption. It's the included extras that make this center console/easy access storage tray a must-have: a fold-out glass breaker, fold-out mini tools including scissors and even a seat belt knife, and two indicators: a red LED to indicate you can use the Use dark sensor and LED flashlight. Yes, it takes presence of mind to remember that you have that tool in an emergency, but knowing that everything you need is within reach helps create that presence of mind. I would recommend this to any rider, young or old, who wants to know they are prepared.
