Much better than AUKEY!

I'll admit I was initially skeptical as the AUKEY design looked better (you can plug and unplug both ends), but I've read that the AUKEY and others have problems with bass retention . I ordered both, and while both eliminated the ground loop - the Krypt's sounded much better. I'm well aware of the placebo effect though, so I set up a test: I played the same song in a car with a microphone and a SURE SM58 stand and sampled the same with the original signal (from Quad DAC HiFi 3.5 mm ). ports on my LG V10), AUKEY and Kyrpt. I then aligned the clips and ran the spectrograph (I had a new laptop so I didn't have Protools installed yet) and the results confirmed what I was hearing: the bass on the AUKEY is almost peaking (about 10dB, huh approximately is HALF), but Krypt keeps it right there. The Krypt doesn't reproduce the mids 100%, but it's still pretty close. I've included a screenshot of the spectrograph for reference! Conclusion: Krypt is worth the extra money! Update: The end of the cable started breaking after about 2 years of use. I like this adapter; I only wish the 3.5mm cable was detachable!
