I wear an 8 1/2 D in exact size American shoes. I can wear 8 1/2 in Born Boots and 9W in Timberland Kiawah Bay Boat Shoe. I ordered the brown version of this shoe in a size 10 and managed to put them on although they are quite snug. However, the leather seems to have quite a bit of stretch and I think they will be wearable and will probably fit well once worn. The quality seems good and one thing is good, they don't feel incredibly tight like many boat boots - I call them canoes. If you can get the LENGTH right, they will probably be wide enough for your feet. As I said, I ordered a size 10 and received a European size 42. I've noticed that sometimes if you order a size 10, they put a size 43 in the cart.
