The packaging was solid, doesn't look like a cheap imitation. I've had other router bits that came unbalanced from the factory and they were a disaster. This finger thing worked so well right out of the box. I was amazed at how sharp and precise it cuts. I was able to get my fingers deep into the slots and they held in place perfectly with glue and some time.
