I purchased 2 sets of two. I think they are great! Very sturdy, the foot pedal on the floor is so much more handy then the ones that have the squeeze handle at the top. With this unit, I'll never have to get on a ladder to extend to the 12' maximum like I would with the squeeze handle ones sold at harbor freight and FastCap. Extending the poles is easier like the Purdy/Wooster paint poles. The FastCap 3rd hand has a small "very hard to press" button that can get lost if you twist the pole just a 1/4" when extending. I don't know how else to describe how much better these were than the FastCap set. The top pad can adjust 180 degree's while the bottom foot can rotate 360 degrees. I believe the FastCap top pad rotated 360 and the bottom pad was stationary.don't quote me on this last one. FastCap doesn't have a clip for hold the plastic either.
