The Core Drill Bit Adapter 5/8-11inch Thread Male to SDS Plus Shank is being used to connect a Hammer Drill to a 2-inch diamond core bit. I also put a 24-inch length of 5/8-11 A193-B7 Threaded Rod in there.The project is to drill into a natural spring in an attempt to increase the flow of water. The rock is sandstone.I have absolute confidence that the Adapter will not fail before the coupling nut does. I want any breakage to happen outside the rock.
