SUMMARY: I read the bad reviews and found them overblown. It's 3M, right? Always high quality, right? Well, not in this case. CONS > A 3-pack sounds economical, but it's not. A 3M Pro scouring pad (e.g. two 3M Pro Grade Dual Angle scouring pads - one fine and one medium) will last longer than 3 of those "cheap" pads and will cut faster and be more comfortable to work with. I bought 2 packs of 3M Pro Medium Sanding Pads at Home Depot for $5.97 ($3 each). moderately rough surface. > Loses cutting power fairly quickly - you need all three for a relatively small project. BENEFITS > They don't seem to clog up as quickly as better sanding sponges - but they wear out so quickly it's debatable, give them a run and reuse them at least a few times. Even when good sanding pads wear out, they are still good for finer sanding. With a project of the right size you can start with a good quality rough sponge and if you need a medium sized sponge it will wear down to a medium size. That's not the case with those cheap sanding sponges - as they wear out, they wear out. > Click 'Stoney' just below the product name to see my other reviews or leave a comment to ask a question.
