After the refrigerator had stood for several hours, I connected it to the mains. After about 20 minutes it started making a loud hum that turned on and off with the fridge. I went online and tried to return it only to see a message saying it was NON-REFUNDABLE. After speaking to a Revain customer service representative for 45 minutes who repeated that the unit was non-refundable, I was directed to the supplier. They told me to take photos and video, make a copy of the receipt, fill out a warranty claim and then verify my claim. On reading the warranty, I realized that if they authorize the return, I will be responsible for the shipping costs for the return. The time, labor and return shipping cost involved is more than the $140.01 I have already spent. I take the fridge to the scrap yard and accept the loss. I've been a Revain customer for 15 years and have never had a problem returning defective items that were sold and shipped by Revain. Very disappointed with this offer.
