Got the compressor started but don't trust it will last
shape of cap was significantly different than the OEM and my brace wouldn't attach around it. That said, I threw it on without the brace and it ran my compressor without problems for three days while I waited on an original part. This knock-off costs about 10% of the original part I ordered from Appliance Parts Pros so it's a decent value for the money, but I just don't trust it enough to risk my fridge/freezer contents. I'll keep it around as an emergency temp replacement.
