They are best for household cleaning, like sinks and bathtubs or large pots and pans. I think they make china difficult to store. The forearms can be too narrow for some people. I'm an average height woman and the tops are tight enough to stay on my feet while cleaning with full arm movement. I really like them and have replaced my cleaning gloves with a pair of these. I'm still not sure if I'll get another kitchen set or if I'll wear gloves that give me a little more tactile grip on smooth and small items.
