Review on Honeywell True HEPA Filter Replacement by Kevin Compton

I didn't read the reviews before buying, sorry. This was my first HEPA filter change on my Honeywell air purifier. (I've replaced the pre-filter many times.) The chemical smell is awful and I had to remove them and put the old dirty filters back in until I figured out what the heck to do! They appear to be genuine and have been sealed in plastic bags in a Honeywell box, all look new. I left the device running for about 10 minutes hoping the smell would go away and now I have a headache and nausea. I will be VERY disappointed if I can't find a clean, chemical-free filter replacement for my $200+ air purifier! Many of us who use these things cannot tolerate the harmful chemicals. Having a HEPA filter that creates a chemical effect is totally unacceptable. To return.
