Review on Efeng Candy Thermometer Probe Clip by Mike Woolford

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Fails after second use

Updated Review: Received a new spatula and it's working well so far. The replacement was a bit worn during shipping. It's still not that easy to clean. First review: It worked well the first time I used it. I've used it when tempering chocolate and it worked well. However, when I used it a second time today to temper more chocolate, the thermometer control stopped responding. I made sure to keep it out of the water. I take out the thermometer and just dismantle the silicone part. It is difficult to clean. The chocolate is stuck in the small holes where the thermometer is placed. I had to use a cotton swab and very hot water to remove all the chocolate. A cleanse I could live with; but I am giving this one star because part of the thermometer has become unresponsive. It won't turn off or switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius anymore. I can't trust this anymore when making candy and chocolate. To return.
