Currently used to boost the voltage of 4 NiMH AA batteries to run a 0.7A 12V water pump. Increasing the voltage from 5V to 12V resulted in a Heating of the capacitors, so I glued copper heatsinks. At 7V it doesn't seem to get warm. The output voltage seems very close to what it shows. However, recently, the screen flickers during use and sometimes displays the input/output voltage randomly or briefly. This is odd considering the screen was normally off when a load was connected to the output. However, it still outputs the correct voltage.
