Didn't work properly - Shift Light

Can't find for 2021 CBR so I took a chance and it doesn't work as expected. directions are not clear. There is no "L" indicator, I have F and it always has been. Tried a reset, but that doesn't work either, as the instructions say. "Programmed" transmissions, and they are not accurate. Displays only one random transmission each layer. It is troublesome to remove and too late to return. I just wanted it to work, but I don't have time to play around. It's also really stupid that it wasn't pre-wired.
