Review on Sound Storm EV2 1200 Evolution Bridgeable by Ron Houston

I bought two of these "1200W" amps. They look great, have a lot of very nice features and perform decently, especially considering the LOW price. But, and this is a pretty BIG BUT, don't buy it expecting to squeeze out AROUND 1200W! Firstly they are advertised as "2ohm stable stereo" and yes they are (doesn't go into protected mode and turns off if you run it on 2ohm STEREO but don't even think so into 2 ohm bridging), but it turns out I'd say MORE raw power into 4 ohms than into 2! And it doesn't have a "soft on/off" so you can expect a wonderful click when it turns on and off. Overall okay for the price. Just don't expect too much!
