Update: 2 years and 20,000 miles later, still holding up This is what I was looking for and that's what I got. You already mention that it doesn't work with heated car mirrors, but for a mirror it works great. If a defog is needed in your area I would not recommend it. But that's only on the passenger side (in my case). I've been using it for about 5 months now and it's still holding up. They offer sticky pads so they come loose if you pry them open or break them again. They also work with mirror adjustment, but you need to make sure you have gaps in the right places. It cannot be flush on either side or it will snag on the frame and possibly fall off.
