As a deck builder, I thought this would be a useful tool for cable railings. I ended up making my own jig. If you use this you will definitely need to craft a jig to work with it. It takes time to set it up for each hole you drill. The worst I can say about it is that it wasn't designed by someone who knew anything about decks and stairs. There is a hole for 30 degree corners, while all stairs have an angle between 32 and 35 degrees. If you try to use a 30 degree angle to cheat it will be very obvious and look like hell. Usage will be very slow and time is money.
