Really works! To be honest I didn't expect this and my kids were so happy it worked. Freezing takes many hours. It turns out it's not a big sum. As a kid I had a Snoopy machine that never worked. I have tried a few of these machines over the years and they have been so difficult to use and messy to clean. It was the easiest thing ever used and didn't make any mess at all. I thoughtlessly took it apart to clean it properly, not paying attention to how I was doing it. So I spent a fun time putting it back together. Lol I'm embarrassed to admit it took a really long time to figure this out so pay attention to how it's put together so you can put it back together after washing. It turned out to be a good amount. The mug looks big, but half of that space is filled with a freezer bag. It turns out to be a cup. You can use it 2 times before it needs to be refrozen. Be quick and don't overdo it on the first use, or your second use will be a little smoother than slush. My kids chose V8 Splash to try it out. You made a great porridge. I'll try to make iced coffee tomorrow. I'll see if I can make something similar to a caramel frappuccino. That way I don't have to go to Starbucks every time I want one because some days it's just too hot to jump in the car for one. Will be updated on success.
