Review on 🦒 Shutter Huggers Giraffe Camera Accessories - GIR001 by Shane Palma

I've been using toys with my camera lenses for years, they definitely work. I had ladybugs, frogs and a dog. Kids love monkeys so I decided to try this shutter hugger monkey. First, it's very soft, and the arms, legs, and tail are flexible and move slightly when the camera is in motion. There are NO tweeters so you'll have to make your own sounds for these little ones. The packaging states that children cannot use it as a toy, but it also states that it is intended for ages 3+. Sometimes when we're photographing toddlers, it's helpful to offer them a toy with a lens as a gift at the end of the session, and that worked really well. So I'm not sure why Shutter Huggers says "not to be used as a toy". I will say I like the way it is made and it fits my 24-70mm zoom lens which has an 82mm front end. Element. I take the hood off, put the monkey on, then replace the hood as the monkey mount. Very satisfied. requires hand wash only, highly recommend. Nicely done.
