Works well. But it's too expensive for what it can do. I use an old school magnet to find the studs. The magnet finds studs 100%, this tool is 97% safe. I introduced this because it can scan other surfaces like brick and concrete. There is no jury yet. Bosch makes great products, but this one sometimes makes me doubt. BOSCH, we have to be 100% sure about that. Take an X-ray so we can see behind the wall for ourselves. We pay your price.
