Used this pump to aerate my (40 gallon) shaded outdoor aquaponic system, primarily a biofilter component, 24/7 for over 10 days! Summer highs topped 115F and this pump still manages to deform as well as expected without even breaking a sweat! Even in this heat, the pump generates little heat and only ever feels warm! For the price, this pump also produces serious performance and has no issues. Pushing through the air threw some air rocks to the bottom of my (24″) tank! Provides plenty of air for fish, nitrifying bacteria and plants covering the area (2ft x 4ft)! Definitely quieter compared to similar sized air pumps. too much of!
