At $18.99 a pair they were significantly cheaper than stock shocks at local auto parts stores where one cylinder costs more than both! My old lift legs were very weak and wouldn't even hold the window half way anymore. When I removed them one by one after installing a new lift cylinder and the old one was still on the jeep, the new lift cylinder held the window by itself! With both installed the window stays up now. Let's be honest I don't think the factory elevator legs worked that well. They simply snap into place where the factory plastic clips had to be removed to remove the old jacks, they were easy to fit - just slide the end of the jack brace onto the anchor pin on the car and press into place. each lasted less than half a minute. They work great and are very cheap.
