I received and installed this new device yesterday. As you can clearly see in this video, we have a serious problem. My initial troubleshooting showed that the problem only happened with port A of the monitor. I swapped cables and all cables work fine. Every confirmed working cable has stopped working in Monitor A's port, leading me to believe that the problem lies with Monitor A's specific hardware itself. Also, it clearly doesn't have a keyboard hotkey switch, which is much more desirable than another remote control. that are never used. I mean seriously, the whole purpose of this device is to control two computers using the same video, keyboard and mouse. Logically, you should be able to switch using keyboard shortcuts instead of reaching across your desk to flip a switch or taking your hands off the keyboard to use the IR remote. Not sure if it's just my only computer or if others share these frustrations (oh now my screen just turned off for about 3 seconds while writing this review and then turned back on - sorry I did didn't get that in my video), but I recommend finding another device that doesn't have egregious issues like this one.
