Review on Hopkins 47275 Brake Control Installation by Rick Ross

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Does what it's supposed to do: Brake control

Does what it's supposed to. Pretty tricky to install, but it totally depends on what car you're plugging in and where you're running the wires. Everything you need is included, but I would recommend soldering the wires if possible. Butt connectors will eventually break and corrode the wire if left uncovered, and they just aren't as strong as a solder joint. You don't want to pull anything heavy and for some reason the brake cable came loose. I would also recommend running these wires through a loom for the same reason. Just to protect the wires from rubbing against the frame and being cut.

Pros
  • Quick and easy installation
Cons
  • Updates available
