Pretty complete brake control kit

Pretty complete brake control kit but as mentioned the black (positive) wire needs to be longer, maybe another 5ft or the same length as the blue wire of the control box. Reading other reviews I bought an extra primary wire and had to finish the wiring. Also, I didn't use the included ATO fuse and used a stud mount Bussman circuit breaker like this one. Installation.

  • No more hassle - it's plug-in Simple

Does what it's supposed to do: Brake control

Does what it's supposed to. Pretty tricky to install, but it totally depends on what car you're plugging in and where you're running the wires. Everything you need is included, but I would recommend soldering the wires if possible. Butt connectors will eventually break and corrode the wire if left uncovered, and they just aren't as strong as a solder joint. You don't want to pull anything heavy and for some reason the brake cable came loose. I would also recommend running these wires through a…

A little pricey for some of the cables and connectors but I think it was worth it not to buy them in the B&M world. I used a fuse holder and fuse and some wire hangers, but what I actually used was a 12 gauge external extension from the front of the car to the rear. This gave me 3 #12 wires to 1) supply 12v to the trailer, 2) brake control wire from the controller to the trailer, and 3) brake light on the signal wire from the brake lights back to the brake controller. #3 was needed as it is no…

Absolutely normal. for brake controller

Did almost what I wanted, some things were missing but it was more related to the model controller I installed. Such as circuit breakers and additional rings. So I'm not setting it against the rating, but it's something to consider when installing. The biggest downside is that the black cable that runs from the connector through the frame to the battery is missing. Not to mention there is no longer a black wire from the controller to the battery. There were enough extra wires of other colors to
